During TEDxYouth@Zurich, Maria talked about the “Art of Negotiation”. She explained how every negotiation is different and walked us through what are for her the most important pillars of negotiation: logic, emotion and reputation – as per Aristotle on persuasion: ethos, logos and pathos – and explained why each one of them is crucial in the negotiation process. She offered three practical tips on how to think and interact during a negotiation, taking us through resilience, the importance of kindness and consideration, and lastly our ability to gain control over how we react in a given situation.
